Working on the Edge

Spaces designed for collaboration and creative exchange

Early this year, a Swedish IT consulting firm established its largest German office in a three-storey space in Munich's city centre on Pranner Strasse. The move was driven by a clear vision: to create a vibrant hub that fosters collaboration and creative dialogue—a space that authentically reflects the company's culture and embodies its innovative spirit. Spanning approximately 2,100 m², the property impresses with its generous layout and thoughtful spatial design. The modern tenant fit-out complements the existing architecture seamlessly, creating a dynamic interplay between contemporary elements and established building character.

Hamburg-based design studio Seel Bobsin Partner (sbp) crafted a sophisticated design strategy centered on creating an emotionally resonant environment—one that seamlessly integrates specialized functional zones and highly flexible communication spaces. Across all three floors, the emphasis is unmistakably on collaboration: expansive team areas and interactive communication hubs where clients and staff work together to develop innovative solutions through direct creative exchange. The dynamic communication and workshop zones feature varied, purposefully designed areas that adapt to different uses. The first floor showcases a generous event venue complete with stage, terrace, and kitchen for hosting regular gatherings—alongside a fitness room and dedicated wellness/prayer space. The second floor adds a dedicated client zone expressly designed for collaborative creative sessions. A generous library rounds out the offering, providing a focused environment for deep work.

Each meeting room carries its own thematic identity. By introducing a sophisticated palette of colors and forms, sbp has created striking visual contrasts throughout the space. Custom-designed interiors and carefully curated color combinations establish an inviting atmosphere that stands in refreshing contrast to typical corporate office design. The furniture selection reinforces modern, agile working practices—flexible workspaces that grow and evolve alongside the company's rapid expansion and shifting needs.
