This dental practice in the city centre unmistakably radiates an inviting warmth: warm materials like wood and brass blend seamlessly with residential and sculptural elements, creating a harmonious whole that feels nothing like a typical dental office – more akin to spaces in a boutique hotel. Designed by Munich-based Gabriela Raible Innenarchitektur, the concept prioritizes openness and accessibility. Large black-framed glass partitions create layered sightlines and compelling visual connections – whether drawing the eye into treatment areas or framing views from the waiting room to the sunny yellow facades of the historic Theatinerstraße buildings beyond.

At the heart of this 200 m² implantology and periodontology practice lies a luminous entrance area anchored by a striking white monolithic reception desk. Its graceful curved form, accented with brass inlays, immediately establishes the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The details are thoughtfully considered: instead of a conventional vase, a sculptural light fixture suspends floral elegance from above, while a brushed brass cabinet behind showcases a beautiful vase as if it were art. The journey continues through the waiting area and imaging suite into clinical spaces outfitted in pristine, functional minimalism. Yet even here, a side table and designer seating introduce a residential ease. Occhio pendant lighting provides precise dental illumination. Solid oak flooring throughout unifies the spaces, creating a cohesive aesthetic. For those waiting, a small desk with compelling views accommodates laptop work. The open-plan waiting area—featuring a large TV screen framed within timber panelling and soft-upholstered seating—serves double duty as a venue for professional lectures, with flexible seating that adapts instantly. "Rather than remaining aloof and clinical, we sought genuine human connection," Raible explains. "Every detail was crafted with meticulous care, mirroring the precision demanded in dentistry itself." Raible and project lead Maren Böttcher take particular pride in the project's recognition with the German Design Award 2021 and Iconic Award 2021.
