A New Heart of the Company

ParshipMeet Group, a leader in online dating, set out to transform its Hamburg headquarters as part of a strategic marketing repositioning and planned IPO. The vision extended beyond corporate messaging – it called for a complete reimagining of the office environment and a new working culture. The objective was clear: embrace hybrid work, foster flexibility, and break down silos through enhanced communication and collaboration across teams and departments.

The 18-month collaboration between planning firm Seel Bobsin Partner and office furnishings specialist Joppich & Rieckhoff proved transformative. Extensive workshops with employees and leadership informed every decision, ensuring the redesigned space would authentically reflect the company's dynamic culture. Employee feedback gathered through an online survey shaped the design strategy. At the heart of the concept sits the "Heartquarter" – a symbolic event and bistro hub that bridges the physical and digital divide. Here, spontaneous conversations flourish in a welcoming café atmosphere, while state-of-the-art technology connects remote colleagues seamlessly to workshops and discussions. The entire 3,200 m² footprint underwent complete redesign, with every floor now featuring flexible multifunctional zones, retreat spaces, and meeting areas suited for both virtual and in-person work. The shift from assigned desks to a flexdesk model was fundamental – agile team zones and focused quiet areas now support how people actually work.

A comprehensive floor plan analysis guided the efficient, sustainable reuse of existing resources during renovation. The result speaks volumes: the redesigned office doesn't simply reflect the company's forward-thinking strategy – it strengthens organizational identity and elevates the employer brand. By combining innovative work models with thoughtfully adapted spaces, the team created an environment where employee needs are met and inspiration thrives. The Heartquarter has arrived.
