Minimalist Form Language
Lisa Winklhofer designed the perfect table to match her architectural vision
Lisa Winklhofer studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and Graz University of Technology. She worked in various architecture firms in Graz and Regensburg. In 2018, she founded studio. lisa winklhofer, an interdisciplinary design practice based in Düsseldorf, specializing in architecture, interior design, and graphic design.
Aligned with her architecture and interior design projects, primarily based in Düsseldorf, Lisa Winklhofer has designed the EPW table: it embodies the reduced yet material-focused design language of her work. The oiled surface of solid oak wood gives the piece its sophisticated yet inviting character. The diagonally positioned and tapered table legs provide both stability and timeless elegance. EPW is the ideal gathering point for family, friends, and guests. With its slender, linear silhouette crafted from pure wood construction, it comfortably seats up to eight people. The table legs are removable. When disassembled, the table measures no more than ten centimeters in height, making it remarkably easy to transport during relocations. Each piece is individually crafted to order. Special requests from clients—such as material selection or dimension modifications—can be accommodated. Beyond its timeless design, Lisa Winklhofer prioritizes regional production and sustainable material practices. For this reason, all tables are produced exclusively by local craftspeople in the Düsseldorf area.
