Johannes Lindner studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and established his own design studio in 2014 while still completing his degree. Working across disciplines, he serves as a lecturer in building construction at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His practice centers on projects defined by clean lines, functionality, and refined aesthetic quality. Lindner is committed to creating modern, enduring furniture and accessories designed to stand the test of time. His work has earned him recognition including the German Design Award.

Among the designs in Lindner's studio portfolio is Science Fiction Ellipse, a mobile that explores and reinterprets the celestial dance of planets and stars—a deliberate homage to Christian Flensted's iconic Mobile Science Fiction (1956).
