Johannes Lindner studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and established his own design studio in 2014 while still completing his degree. Working across disciplines, he serves as a lecturer in building construction at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His practice centers on projects defined by clean lines, functionality, and refined aesthetic quality. Lindner is committed to creating modern, enduring furniture and accessories designed to stand the test of time. His work has earned him recognition including the German Design Award.

Among the designs in Lindner's studio portfolio is Science Fiction Ellipse, a mobile that explores and reinterprets the celestial dance of planets and stars—a deliberate homage to Christian Flensted's iconic Mobile Science Fiction (1956). Leaf salad servers draw inspiration from the delicate form of lamb's lettuce, their distinctive silhouette elevating the simple act of serving into something intentional and mindful. Crafted from stainless steel, they sit comfortably in the hand and store efficiently. The Twig chair embodies Scandinavian minimalism through its graceful, curved seat that provides exceptional comfort. Named for the solid wood element crowning its backrest—a practical detail that invites you to hang a jacket or bag—the chair is as easy to move as it is versatile. Whether in offices, restaurants, cafeterias, museums, or dining rooms, Twig adapts seamlessly to any setting.
