Individual and timeless

Vases with a unique look, made from "bioplastic" using a 3D printing process

With his "Iconic Home" vase collection, Nicolas Woll has redefined the interplay between light and shadow. For him, creative expression has always gone hand in hand with embracing new technical possibilities. After graduating from high school, he initially pursued architecture studies. During his university years in the early 2000s, he founded a company specializing in wall design—one that quickly flourished in the emerging online retail landscape. As the business expanded and production demands grew, he designed and built a bespoke, state-of-the-art facility to match.

In 2023, driven by a passion for innovation and his deep interest in form and design, Nicolas launched his current venture: a collection of five designer vases created through 3D printing technology. Each vase features deliberately timeless proportions, ensuring they transcend fleeting trends and remain relevant in any interior for years to come. The designs draw inspiration from classic forms—think bottle vases and spherical vessels. Yet each of the five models stands distinct, thanks to the high-relief surface structure achieved through 3D printing, which gives every piece its own distinctive character within a refined, minimalist aesthetic. Produced from PLA—a sustainable bioplastic derived from corn starch or sugarcane—the "Iconic Home" vases work beautifully as vessels for flowers and grasses, or as striking sculptural objects on their own. The carefully selected color palette and size variations allow the entire collection to work seamlessly together as an ensemble.
