Office Space Design That Embodies Corporate Identity and Business Goals

In the heart of Frankfurt's city centre, architect and interior designer Simone Jüschke took on a comprehensive challenge for a former client: she not only designed the office space but also sourced an office floor that matched their requirements. Working from the client's vision, she developed initial concepts tailored to the available rental properties. Within six months, the ideal premises were secured, and another six months later, the client's team moved into their new office floor.

Office and commercial spaces must authentically represent a company's identity. For this project, Jüschke selected colours and materials using a curated sample catalogue—choices that not only honour the corporate design but also reinforce key business objectives. She masterfully balanced a contemporary, fresh aesthetic with understated professionalism, creating spaces that command respect. The custom-built furniture features dark wood-textured materials aligned with the corporate identity. To prevent the design from feeling monotonous within the constraints of the sample catalogue, Jüschke introduced visual variety through strategic wall colours and complementary loose furnishings. Light grey upholstered pieces, blue acoustic panels, and coloured accent cushions inject vitality throughout the space.

The landlord stipulated carpet and/or vinyl flooring. Jüschke combined these materials strategically: the carpet and vinyl blend defines zones within the open-plan layout while simultaneously enhancing acoustics—a critical factor in determining whether employees experience genuinely productive working conditions and feel comfortable in their environment. Acoustic absorbers positioned in conference areas further refine the sound quality. Timeless black LED ceiling fixtures, seamlessly integrated into the corporate design, deliver optimal task lighting throughout.
