Vibrant, Fresh, and Distinctly Different
Plant-Based Vietnamese Cuisine at Ta Vegan House on Reimarusstraße
Vibrant, crisp, and daringly different – that's the signature of Ta Vegan House, the Portuguese Quarter's newest culinary sensation. Chef Ta Tien Hop showcases exclusively plant-based Vietnamese cuisine, thoughtfully reimagined through his refined technique. His dumplings, salads, pho, curries, and desserts are nothing short of exceptional. Served in small-portioned bowls designed for sharing and discovery, every dish embodies Ta's philosophy: the perfect evening with friends and family – or even a productive lunch with colleagues – should be conversational, dynamic, inspiring, and joyful.
The excellence extends beyond the cooking itself. Here, only the finest fresh ingredients take center stage: vegetables and fruits at peak ripeness, premium mushrooms, and expertly marinated tofu creations. Every sauce and marinade is handcrafted from proprietary recipes, while dishes are finished with delicate wild herb salads that invite you to dig in. The space itself is equally captivating – striking black walls with a living plant installation create an atmosphere where handcrafted wood inlays and golden accents strike the perfect balance between contemporary design and exotic allure.
Ta's mission is simple: introduce more people to the pleasures of vegan cuisine – in an effortless and utterly delicious way. Beyond the kitchen, he supports his parents' homeland by sourcing tableware, cutlery, and accessories directly from Vietnam.
