Professional hackers are essential to IT security—by running simulated attacks, they uncover vulnerabilities in digital infrastructure before criminals can exploit them. For a leading player in this field, adina. architektur reimagined the hacker methodology as a compelling interior design across approximately 750 m². Rather than settling for conventional office design, they created an immersive spatial environment where identity, function, and atmosphere converge in a unified experience.

The floor unfolds across five distinct zones. The "RedZone"—home to the Red Team of attackers—features monochromatic meeting rooms in muted Bordeaux tones. Acoustically dampened wall surfaces and a metal cassette ceiling reinforce this technical-mystical ambiance, while a wet-effect floor intensifies the sensory experience. RGB lighting allows the color palette to shift fluidly. Tinted mirror surfaces and the reflective floor dissolve spatial boundaries, creating an infinity effect. The "Hacker Cinema," outfitted with three oversized monitors, serves as the hub for knowledge sharing, events, and presentations. Radiating LED installations and a rotating sculptural chair underscore themes of anonymity and performance art. A concealed "backdoor" opens into the "GreenZone"—an organic retreat landscape abundant with vegetation and topographic contours. Mirrored walls stretch perception infinitely, transforming nature into both illusion and counterpoint to the tech-driven environment. The "WhiteZone" is where newcomers—the so-called "n00bs"—learn in a pristine white room with seamless flooring. Minimalist lighting and a futuristic Scorpion Chair foster an experimental atmosphere. By contrast, the "InvisibleZone" belongs to APTs—the elite, highly specialized attackers who move like "digital ninjas" through darkness. The design mirrors this philosophy: an austere setting with black wet-effect flooring, where hackers occupy individual and shared workspaces. High-gloss walls and framed LED arrays create an infinity aesthetic that mirrors global networks and digital gateways. The "InvisibleZone" is now complete, with the remaining zones scheduled for completion by 2025/2026.
