During their studies in fashion and communication design at Trier University of Applied Sciences, friends Lisa Frisch and Katharina Pfaff shared a clear vision: to create a sustainable label for distinctive accessories. In 2015, they launched frisch Beutel in Frankfurt and turned that vision into reality. For both designers, elegant simplicity and refined aesthetics remain central to every piece they create.

In their Gallus district studio in Frankfurt, Frisch and Pfaff design rucksacks and bags built to last. Their production partners and retailers operate locally across Frankfurt and the surrounding region—keeping shipping distances minimal while supporting regional craft traditions. Beyond traditional leather, they work with innovative materials like apple leather and cork. The frisch Beutel collection includes the City Rucksack Granit: crafted from supple black leather and embossed croc-textured leather with a grey-blue patina. It easily accommodates a 13-inch laptop and a folder, while a rear zip pocket secures valuables. The front compartments organize bottles and newspapers with ease. The frisch wallet slips effortlessly into any pocket, featuring a spacious bill compartment, card slots, and a dedicated coin section. The label's phone cases fit most models up to iPhone 12 size, with an additional front pocket for cards or cash.
