The new ibis Styles Munich Perlach is a modern 3-star hotel built around a distinctive design concept created exclusively for this property: "Munich Disco." Drawing inspiration from Giorgio Moroder's disco soundscapes of the 1970s and the playful Memphis design movement of the 1980s, Munich-based architectural firm Arnold/Werner crafted an interior that captures the spirit of urban living through bold color choices and striking details. "Guests enter a vibrant, imaginative world of form and color. White terrazzo flooring and surfaces in rich Bordeaux violet and ultramarine blue establish the character of the public spaces.

Complementing these are neon lettering, spherical pendant lights, gently curved service counters, and custom-designed seating clusters featuring round cushioned elements. "The guest rooms showcase Memphis-inspired patterned carpets and alternating red-purple and midnight blue walls and ceilings—a distinctly expressive yet minimalist aesthetic that defined the golden age of disco," explains Sascha Arnold, highlighting the design's distinctive features. Flooded with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, the bright contemporary rooms feature Sweet Bed by ibis Styles and deliver genuine comfort and style. The setting within the newly launched Perlach Plaza is equally compelling: "With its cutting-edge architecture and dynamic blend of uses, Perlach Plaza demands something special—generic hotels simply won't do. We're delighted to partner with a hotel that prioritizes authentic individuality," notes Peter Fritsche, managing director of Perlach Plaza developer Concrete.
