Simon Wimmer and Jona Lim share a passion for exceptional wooden products and mindful, resource-conscious consumption. Driven by the conviction that durable, exclusive furniture can help create a more livable world for future generations, they founded Arbor Furniture in Stuttgart in 2020. The two designers now craft exclusive solid wood tables that showcase distinctive character through natural preservation of wood grain, hand-selected finishes, and epoxy resin detailing. Rather than veneering composite boards, Wimmer and Lim work exclusively with solid wood planks—a more costly approach that celebrates the wood's authentic nature and ensures lasting durability. These tables improve with age and use, often lasting decades when properly maintained. Every piece is handcrafted and entirely unique. Natural elements like knots, grain inclusions, and subtle fissures are inherent features that enhance each table's distinctive personality. Their timeless aesthetic seamlessly complements both traditional and contemporary interiors. Should you wish to refresh a piece, simply sanding and refinishing with oil, wax, or varnish brings new life to the wood. Replaceable legs offer even greater flexibility, allowing an entirely fresh aesthetic without extensive effort. Beyond dining and coffee tables, the label offers electrically adjustable standing desks with fully customizable tops and bases.
