Home First, Office Second
Purpose-Driven Values Meet Modern Work Culture
Credion, a financing company, enjoys a prime location on Hamburg's Neuer Wall with stunning views of the Binnenalster. Its 300 m² office space transcends the traditional workplace – it's a shared home office where all team members feel equally at home. As management puts it: "We get to feel at home where others simply work." Seel Bobsin Partner crafted a bespoke design that flows seamlessly with the company's workflows and communication culture. The modern multispace solution balances today's needs with tomorrow's growth, creating an environment ready to scale.
The thoughtfully designed space skillfully blends open, adaptable zones with private retreat areas. Premium social spaces transition naturally into work zones, all strategically positioned with exceptional views. Individual workstations within the open area benefit from acoustic screening that fosters both focus and intimacy. The lighting design – independent of furniture layout – delivers not just atmospheric warmth but also spatial flexibility. This allows the environment to shift and breathe with changing needs. Operating in a sector built on trust and expertise, the design team set out to strike a careful balance: serious yet contemporary, without veering into excess. The challenge was marrying quiet Hanseatic restraint with genuine values, then expressing them through modern colour, form, and materials. The result: a refined, organized workspace that commands respect and delivers exceptional comfort for employees, visitors, and clients alike.
Every material and surface has been thoughtfully selected and harmonized. Architectural features like the curved glass walls serve as deliberate focal points. Black profiles create striking contrast against warm tones, while open areas achieve quality without excessive cost. The lighting strategy reinforces this modern, residential feel throughout. Comfort isn't an afterthought—it's woven into every decision. The company's values shine through authentically, steering clear of financial sector clichés. The project earned recognition as a "Best Workplaces 2023" winner.
