Modern. Iconic. Sustainable.
A striking architectural ensemble elevates Heerdt's appeal as a premier business destination
Düsseldorf-Heerdt has emerged as one of the city's most sought-after business locations, with an expanding skyline of contemporary buildings gracing the left bank of the Rhine. Among the latest architectural additions is "Trigon", developed by the bema group on Schiessstraße—a cul-de-sac branching off the thriving Hansaallee. The building takes its name from the three-part ensemble that defines the site: a stately six-storey office tower, an adjoining multi-storey car park housing approximately 470 parking spaces and over 30 electric charging stations, and a future development planned for Schiessstraße in the coming years.
The building's rounded edges speak to refined design principles and understated elegance, while its striking black façade provides a bold visual counterpoint to the neighbouring "Silizium" project—also on this street, defined by its light, glass-forward aesthetic and completed in 2014 through a bema group and ABG Real Estate Group collaboration. The modern, iconic "Trigon", recognized with DGNB Gold certification, features a crisp façade rhythm punctuated by floor-to-ceiling glazing and two generously proportioned panoramic roof terraces encircling the fifth floor. Designed by Cologne-based caspar.schmitzmorkramer and executed by Steam Architekten in Düsseldorf, the interior spaces offer flexibility and scale. The adaptable floor plans accommodate everything from conventional private and team offices to cutting-edge new work environments tailored to each organization's needs. Two ground-floor entrances enable tenants to maintain distinct, branded addresses. Completed in 2023 and now home to international companies including Mitsubishi, Epson, and Sandvik, the building exemplifies contemporary workplace design. "We're thrilled to have found a space in Trigon that checks every box—sustainability credentials, modern design, and a functional environment where our team can thrive," remarked Manfred Herder, Managing Director of Sandvik Holding, at the lease handover in November 2022.
