Modern. Iconic. Sustainable.
A striking architectural ensemble elevates Heerdt's appeal as a premier business destination
Düsseldorf-Heerdt has established itself as a highly sought-after business location, with an increasing number of new structures now defining the skyline on the left bank of the Rhine. One of the district's most recent architectural achievements is "Trigon," erected by bema group on Schiessstraße, a side street branching off from the thriving Hansaallee. The striking building takes its name from the three-part ensemble developed on the site. This comprises a representative six-story office building, an adjacent parking structure with approximately 470 spaces and over 30 EV charging stations, as well as an additional high-rise development planned for construction on Schiessstraße in the coming years.
While the building's rounded corners convey elegant formal language with striking presence, the black façade creates a powerful aesthetic counterpoint within the neighborhood's overall composition, contrasting notably with the "Silicon" project located nearby, which is characterized by extensive white surfaces and glass and was completed in 2014 by bema group in joint venture with ABG Real Estate Group. The modern, iconic "Trigon," which has earned DGNB Gold certification, features a clear façade grid with floor-to-ceiling windows and boasts two attractive panoramic roof terraces with a continuous terrace band on the fifth floor. Designed by the Cologne office caspar.schmitzmorkramer and executed by Steam Architekten, Düsseldorf, the building's interior offers generous spaces with flexible floor plans. These enable the implementation of tailored, demand-driven office organization concepts—from individual, group, and team offices to innovative New Work approaches. To provide tenants with distinct, identifiable addresses, the building, which was completed in 2023 and leased to international tenants including Mitsubishi, Epson, and Sandvik, features two primary entrances on the ground floor. "I'm pleased that we've found a property in Trigon that fully meets our sustainability requirements and enables us to create a modern, functional work environment for our employees," said Manfred Herder, Managing Director of Sandvik Holding, upon the transfer of the leased space in November 2022.
