Dramatic Lighting Design
Stefan Gant Creates Bold Concrete Luminaires
Stefan Gant is an architect and product designer who hails from Bavaria. In 2011, while still studying at the Technical University of Berlin, he established Gantlights—a label built on minimalist forms and striking material contrasts. Working from his studio in Berlin Neukölln, Gant crafts distinctive lighting fixtures from concrete, wood, and precious metals, each designed to define and elevate individual interior spaces.
The triangulated T1 pendant is cast in grey concrete and features gilt interiors that emit a warm, inviting glow. Single pendants command attention, while multiple fixtures together can anchor a dining table, sideboard, or bar. The S-Series ceiling spotlight marries compact proportions with a fluted surface—a nod to Roman architectural detailing. Its rotating head allows precise light direction and targeted accents throughout living rooms, kitchens, and offices alike. The C-Series rectangular lights (122 x 8 x 8 cm) are particularly suited to illuminating extended dining surfaces. Their minimalist aesthetic and contrasting material palette adapt seamlessly to any interior scheme. Choose from custom combinations of concrete or wood paired with precious metals. The light source remains fully replaceable, ensuring long-term flexibility.
