Parking has become a scarce commodity in metropolitan areas. For hotel guests arriving late, finding an available parking space or EV charging station can prove challenging. The newly opened b'mine Hotel in Flingern offers an innovative solution: its flagship building at the corner of Höherweg and Kettwiger Straße features "car lofts" — loggia-style parking spaces seamlessly integrated into individual hotel rooms. These spaces connect directly via a patented glass car elevator that bypasses the reception entirely. Each of the 26 car loft rooms spans 38 m² and comes equipped with comprehensive EV charging infrastructure, including a wall-mounted charger.

The b'mine Hotel Düsseldorf marks the second location for this emerging boutique hotel group, following their flagship in Frankfurt am Main. Designed by Berlin's renowned Neikes Architekturen, the Flingern property showcases thoughtful architectural and interior design throughout. The hotel's 202 standard rooms presented a particular design challenge: each single room (15 m²) and double room (20 m²) was carefully crafted to maximize a sense of calm and spaciousness. The design team employed clever, open-plan furniture solutions to achieve charming "tiny living" spaces without compromise. High-quality textiles define each room's zones while establishing a distinctly welcoming atmosphere. The public areas embrace the same philosophy—a "home away from home" experience. From the ground-floor welcome area to the top level, custom designer furniture was created exclusively for b'mine. The sixth-floor rooftop has already become a sought-after destination for both guests and locals. "The Roof," spanning 200 m², combines restaurant, bar, and lounge, offering exceptional cuisine alongside sweeping city views from both the dining space and adjoining terraces. The ground floor houses a casual bistro with a specialty coffee shop serving breakfast and premium coffee to guests and the public alike. Occupying 550 m² of the top floor, a sophisticated event and conference hub features nine flexible spaces designed for everything from product launches to celebrations. The largest event space (150 m²) leverages the patented car elevator to welcome vehicles and loads up to four tons—imagine a wedding reception where the getaway car rolls directly into the hall. Floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive terraces frame commanding views across the city skyline.
