Kieferorthopädie Monheim am Rhein Dr. Brock/Dr. Staudt focuses on young patients. The planning and design consultancy loop_creating places supported the development of the interior. With a clear focus on the user experience, the goal was to create an atmosphere that alleviates anxiety and appeals to both young and older visitors alike: the spaces needed to be clinically hygienic without appearing visually sterile, while offering a warm and approachable ambiance.

Based on the existing technical practice layout and guided by a design narrative, a comprehensive concept was developed. To maximize the spaciousness of patient areas, the reception and office zone had to remain functionally efficient without feeling cramped: the reception desk with its open, curved edge creates an inviting gesture. Behind it, a floor-to-ceiling shelving divider with lacquered fronts serves as a spatial marvel, providing storage on both sides for back-office operations. A half-height partition topped with glazing brings additional daylight into the reception area. To establish an atmosphere of warmth, service, and competence, the design employs a carefully curated palette of warm, tactile materials that diffuse light softly and avoid harsh shadows. The color scheme deliberately avoids clinical white-on-white. Instead, harmonious pastel tones and warm hues dominate, radiating calm and fostering a positive, friendly mood. The medical equipment recedes visually into the background, while communication, dialogue, and consultation take center stage spatially.
