One office looks much like another? Not anymore. With the rise of New Work, creative office design has truly become limitless. This office, realized by B&K Design, distinguishes itself through a distinctive industrial charm that sets it apart from conventional workspaces. The brief came from a renowned entrepreneur in the sales sector who had his office building expanded by an additional floor. He sought to create a workspace that transcended the typical corporate office atmosphere. The new spaces needed to be both aesthetically compelling and highly functional. The client placed particular emphasis on blending modern and industrial design elements. The resulting design reflects a harmonious fusion of aesthetics and functionality—exactly as envisioned.

Visually striking features include the slat wall in the executive office, the conference room paneling, and the bathroom vanity—all crafted from solid oak. These elements introduce a warm, inviting counterpoint to the otherwise cool industrial aesthetic. Wood is used consistently throughout the spaces, valued both for its visual impact and durability. It becomes a defining design element and a guarantee of harmony within the office environment. A particular standout is the floating wooden conference table. Created in B&K Design's in-house workshop from an oak cross-section, it was brushed and finished with black lacquer. Apart from the desks, all furniture comes from B&K Design. The lighting and bathroom fixtures are equally refined. The project is further distinguished by the sophisticated use of fixed glass elements and a pivot door, which together create a bright, open-plan work environment.

„The project presented multifaceted challenges—from carefully selecting materials and working within spatial constraints to seamlessly integrating hidden features like the concealed door in the conference room," recalls Fabian Küppers
of B&K Design. He adds that all of these complexities were successfully realized through creativity and technical expertise.
