Timeless Essentials Meet Modern Innovation
Assmann Refreshes Its Decor Collection – New Colours and Surface Textures for Contemporary Office Design and Seamless Coordination
Preserving the classics while embracing innovation – ASSMANN's redesigned decor collection represents a clear commitment to modern furniture design. The expanded range of essential decors in wood and solid finishes has been deliberately crafted to align with today's design trends, honoring time-tested aesthetics while injecting fresh energy into contemporary workspaces.
The result is a thoughtfully curated update: seven new, meticulously selected colours, refined surface textures, and endless combination possibilities. ASSMANN's approach prioritizes contemporary design that seamlessly complements modern work environments and fosters an inviting, sophisticated atmosphere. The new palette includes Crema Oak, Honey Oak, Nougat Oak, and Walnut, alongside three solid tones – Cashmere, Graphite Grey, and Terra Brown. "We've refreshed our colour worlds by reinterpreting proven classics through a modern lens and partnering with colour specialists to create elegant new alternatives," explains project lead Hannes Hartmann. Take the previous "Pebble" tone – it now debuts as "Cashmere" with an updated aesthetic. Even existing decors benefit from the evolution. Matte textured finishes deliver a more vibrant, premium feel while maintaining their practicality and durability. All certifications remain fully intact.
From open-plan workspaces to welcoming work cafés and impressive boardrooms, ASSMANN's modern design collection reinforces its commitment to crafting work environments that inspire and energize. The new colours are carefully balanced and integrate seamlessly into diverse interior schemes. "We placed particular emphasis on surface refinement," Hartmann notes. "The new decors showcase finer detail, softer tactile qualities, and optimized sheen levels – resulting in surfaces that feel velvety, matte, and inherently natural. These aren't just designs you see; they're designs you feel." Beyond aesthetics, quality speaks volumes: the materials resist scratching, require minimal maintenance, and promise lasting durability. "Surfaces are becoming increasingly central to workspace design," Hartmann adds. "They define spaces and enable productive work."
Sample collections launch in September, with full production deliveries beginning January 1, 2026. Early feedback from specialist retailers confirms the collection aligns perfectly with current design and tactile trends, creating a cohesive aesthetic for forward-thinking workplaces. And ASSMANN isn't stopping here – the company is already developing new concepts and collections beyond the Basic line to help shape the work environments of tomorrow.
