The founders and leaders – Madlen Freudenberg, Julia Heimeier, and Steffi Schürmann – envision Neue Denkerei as a "laboratory for collaborative processes where the right people gather in inspiring spaces, apply creative methods, and collectively build tomorrow."

The design of Neue Denkerei is a masterclass in thoughtful architecture – merging the raw authenticity of a historic building with the clarity and efficiency of contemporary spatial planning. Soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and open floor plans create an 850 m² environment that radiates openness while maintaining clear structure. By design: this former printing house and industrial photography studio was deliberately reimagined not merely to accommodate change, but to actively foster it. Spaces can be opened, closed off, merged, or divided as needs evolve – they're inherently flexible and responsive, making them ideal for the fluid demands of coworking, design thinking, workshops, and events.

From focused solo work to dynamic group sessions, the spatial design embodies a single principle: maximum adaptability. The environment shapes itself around its users – not the other way around – creating the conditions where creative professionals thrive. To reinforce this vision physically and mentally, the team integrated Aeris ergonomic seating solutions. With their philosophy of "Never just sit," this Munich-based active furniture maker brings precisely what defines Neue Denkerei: a culture of movement – spatial, physical, and intellectual.
