Just a stone's throw from the Outer Alster in Rotherbaum lies the headquarters of IDee Dialog, a communications agency specializing in strategic consulting, creative concept development, and the execution of social media campaigns alongside curated media events. The basement spaces of this Gründerzeit-era building have been thoughtfully designed by the young interior architecture studio Kids Studios, directed by Robin Hepp.

The challenge was to create a workspace spanning approximately 100 m² that could accommodate diverse requirements and scenarios, while deliberately avoiding the typical office aesthetic. The result is a hybrid space—part office, part showroom, part brand environment—that feels as welcoming and relaxed as a home. Here, clients and employees alike discover an inspiring setting for connection and exchange.

Upon entry, visitors encounter a carefully composed landscape of earth-toned textiles, natural woods, and warm surfaces. A built-in planter crowns the upholstered seating, hosting striking strelitzia plants. The hallway defies immediate recognition as such—it doubles as a gallery, offering flexible space for clients' curated presentations. The white terrazzo countertop of the 3.50-metre sideboard echoes the oak shelving opposite. Flowing, softly tinted curtains define spatial zones while enhancing acoustics throughout the work areas. Aligned with contemporary work culture, IDee Dialog operates without fixed desks—employees work fluidly from any location. Tables and monitors stand ready, though team members can equally bring their own laptops and begin instantly. The meeting room features an automatically rotating screen, enabling seamless playback of diverse content formats across multiple platforms at any moment.

The palette throughout is restrained and subtle; materials feel authentic and tactile. Furnishings balance flexibility with comfort, while technology remains cutting-edge. Every element reflects meticulous craftsmanship. Pendant fixtures serve as accent lighting, reinforcing the welcoming ambiance. Together, these spaces and objects embody a graceful convergence of aesthetic vision, skilled execution, material integrity, and purposeful design.
