Nina Plum studied fashion design at Berlin's prestigious Esmod fashion school before founding her own label, germanmade, in Düsseldorf in 2010. From her studio in Flingern, the Aachen-born designer crafts protective covers for laptops, phones, and tablets alongside carefully designed accessory bags—each piece entirely unique. What sets germanmade apart is this commitment to handmade quality: every product is crafted exclusively by artisans throughout Germany, without sacrificing the swift delivery her clients expect. Take the L'Etoile Etui Clutch, a prime example of the label's philosophy. Built on purist design principles, it's crafted from vegetable-tanned cowhide and intelligently organizes charging cables, external drives, smartphones, and small essentials. Like all germanmade pieces, it can be personalized through custom embossing or engraving, and fastens with an elegant cartridge button. Her phone cases deserve equal attention. Constructed from premium cowhide leather with a natural wool felt interior, they deliver genuine protection while maintaining a refined aesthetic. Available in multiple colors and sizes, they're a study in form meeting function. The G.Book organisers take a decidedly analog approach—bound with elastic bands and fully customizable with calendars, address books, notebooks, or business card inserts. Committed to sustainability, germanmade also offers fully vegan versions of all protective cases.
