Truly inspiring
The new extension redefines the workplace
Last September, Schufa employees made the move to "Kampus7," a striking new building seamlessly connected to the company's Wiesbaden headquarters. With 4,000 m² of space, around 140 employees discovered a workplace designed for how work actually happens today. The interior design—developed by Leson in close partnership with Schufa Holding AG—draws from employee input gathered in collaborative workshops. The result: five distinct room modules that adapt to every working need. Beyond the layout, the design itself embodies Schufa's corporate culture, making it tangible and visible throughout the space.
Thoughtfully zoned areas balance collaborative teamwork, both intimate and large-scale meetings, and quiet focus spaces—while larger areas welcome everyone together. The sports facility on the ground floor and the event space on the fourth floor (with its views toward the Rhine and Schierstein Harbour) anchor community life. Meanwhile, inviting breakout zones—tea kitchens and active central areas nestled within the office—foster spontaneous connection and offer an appealing alternative to traditional desk-bound work.
Thematic zones create visual variety across the building while giving each floor its own identity. Nature features prominently throughout, tapping into our innate desire to connect with the natural world and boosting overall well-being. To maximize efficiency, assigned workstations were replaced with a flexible booking system. By right-sizing capacity to actual demand, the design team reclaimed unused space for the five room modules. Desk-sharing and mobile furniture make it easy to adapt the office to evolving project needs. The result is a holistic workspace that supports every working style—and energizes those who use it.
