Frederik Rasenberger creates sustainable furniture and products

Frederik Rasenberger finds joy in life's small pleasures—objects and products that bring a smile, even on difficult days. This is precisely the effect he strives to achieve through his designs. What started as a passion project has evolved into a full design label: in 2020, the Munich native founded EveryOtherDay in the city's Westend district. Sustainability is central to every piece Rasenberger creates. His design philosophy is rooted in circular economy principles, where materials are engineered to be transformed into new products at the end of their lifecycle. Take plastic and cardboard, for instance—they're given new purpose as the Cozy Cleo table lamp. Rasenberger developed an innovative process that shreds recycled cardboard and compresses it into form without any adhesives or binding agents. The lampshade incorporates recycled plastic bottles. Dotty D is a modular key rack that adapts to your wall. Individual modules can be arranged in any configuration and are crafted from premium solid wood and stainless steel sourced from sustainably managed forests. The Tiny Three vases showcase 3D printing at its finest—made from renewable, natural materials like corn starch, they offer a sustainable alternative to conventional plastics. Waterproof and shatterproof, these vases add vibrant color to any space. The layer-by-layer printing process creates a distinctive surface texture: each vase is composed of 500 fused layers, individually bonded together.
