The wine shop, reimagined for today

An unpretentious evening in a living room anchored by an impressively expansive wine collection

Since 2014, wine has been enjoyed in a relaxed setting at the heart of St. Pauli. What began as an insider secret has evolved into something far more ambitious. Today, Stephanie Döring and her team present everything from winemaker dinners to foundational tastings—a fresh take on an otherwise convention-bound world. Weinladen positions itself as an innovative force in wine retail, unburdened by pretension. There are no dry lectures on technical minutiae, no unspoken dress codes. What matters is the evening itself—the taste on your palate, the ease of discovery, the pure quality of what you're experiencing. The ever-rotating selection of around 200 wines invites exploration; you taste until you find your match. And to set the mood, the team rounds it all out with exceptional charcuterie and bread.
