A Cohesive Design Statement

The design concept harnesses the therapeutic power of colour to shape the group practice experience

Several years ago, the Isaza & Morguet practice for holistic orthopaedics, integrative medicine and naturopathy in Rheinbach enlisted interior designer Agnes Morguet to transform its ground floor—housed in a historic townhouse—into a welcoming new space. Now, the practice was ready to elevate the second floor. The Wuppertal-based designer developed her original concept further, weaving the practice's corporate design elements throughout the rooms. The result: a second floor that functions as a living extension of the practice's identity—cohesive, harmonious, and unmistakably branded.

The ground floor established the aesthetic foundation: fresh colours, light wood, and antique furnishings create a thoughtful interplay of old and new, understated and contemporary. This visual language carries upward to the second floor, where warm rosé and ochre tones take centre stage—not just on the walls, but woven throughout the watercolour paintings that grace each room. These artworks cultivate a sense of calm and warmth, particularly vital in the acupuncture spaces where therapeutic presence matters most. Drawing directly from the practice's watercolour logo—a stylised tree of life representing holistic treatment, natural healing, and patient-centred care—the paintings bring nature indoors without artifice. The logo's fresh green-blue palette communicates vitality, health, and clarity while subtly enhancing focus and human connection. This graphic language flows through the space via a carefully considered combination of dark and light wood, anchored by coordinated textiles in seating, rugs, and lampshades. The result is an inviting, refined environment that speaks equally to patients of all ages—a practice that feels both grounded and alive.
