Minimalist Form Language

Lisa Winklhofer designed the perfect table to match her architectural vision

Lisa Winklhofer studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and Graz University of Technology. She worked in various architecture firms in Graz and Regensburg. In 2018, she founded studio. lisa winklhofer, an interdisciplinary design practice based in Düsseldorf, specializing in architecture, interior design, and graphic design.

For her architectural and interior design projects—predominantly based in Düsseldorf—Lisa Winklhofer created the EPW table, embodying the minimalist yet material-focused aesthetic that defines her work. The oiled oak surface lends the piece both refined quality and intimate warmth. Angled, tapered legs provide stability while maintaining timeless elegance. EPW serves as the perfect gathering point for family, friends, and guests. Its clean, linear profile in solid wood accommodates up to eight people comfortably. The legs are easily removable, and when disassembled, the table compacts to just ten centimetres in height—ideal for moving day. Each table is handcrafted to order, with flexibility for custom material selections or dimension adjustments. Beyond its timeless design, Winklhofer prioritizes regional craftsmanship and sustainable material practices. All EPW tables are exclusively produced by skilled local woodworkers in the Düsseldorf region.
