Setting the Standard

Frankfurt office spaces that leave a lasting impression

Designing new office space for real estate advisors presents a unique challenge. After all, these professionals spend their days developing attractive office properties designed for tomorrow's evolving workplace needs—meaning they know the full spectrum of solutions and have guided countless demanding projects for their clients. That's what makes Colliers' new German headquarters on the 9th and 10th floors of the T4 office tower in the Four project so exemplary: it showcases a fresh vision for modern workplace design. The interior concept, developed by Merz Innenarchitektur, offers a template that other Colliers locations could easily adopt.

The company's DNA shaped every design decision: premium materials throughout the reception and conference areas establish a clean, timeless aesthetic that reflects the firm's core values. A soft, natural colour palette paired with strategic accent lighting fosters an inviting work environment. From the moment visitors and staff arrive, the reception area makes a statement—an open, welcoming space defined by clean lines and light tones that instantly communicate both professionalism and ease. Sleek surfaces like the conference tables are softened by tactile elements: plush carpeting and supple leather conference chairs that combine ergonomic support with refined elegance. Layered lighting and restrained colour accents create a focused yet comfortable atmosphere that enhances both concentration and productivity. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the high-tech conference rooms frame sweeping city views. The work lounge draws inspiration from the blues and greens of the "Aqua" office tower—as the Four's T4 is known—weaving the building's character into Colliers' corporate identity. At 165 m², the lounge adapts to multiple needs through thoughtful zoning: a space where colleagues can gather, share a meal, or focus on work. Comfortable seating and sophisticated yet approachable furnishings naturally encourage interaction and teamwork. Natural materials and contemporary design elements together create an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and distinctly professional.
