Monolithic & Delicate

Hillside villa with flowing, generous spatial design

Perched on a 1,540 m² hillside plot with stunning vistas, this villa showcases a striking frame house design and a contemporary take on the classic gabled roof. Bold white façades are framed by expansive glazing, concrete surfaces, and rendered walls—a dialogue that creates a sculptural, monolithic presence from outside, while revealing refined elegance within. With 506 m² of total space, the architectural composition achieves a compelling contrast between mass and refinement.

Outside, generous partially covered terraces form welcoming living spaces, anchored by a generous pool. The upper terraces are strategically layered to shelter those below, while a flat roof extends over the uppermost terrace, simultaneously protecting it from the elements and connecting the integrated garage to the main residence. This thoughtful arrangement delivers sunshine throughout the day while providing shelter from inclement weather. A covered, plant-lined entry from the street and the integrated garage welcome arriving guests with both comfort and protection. Upon stepping inside, visitors are greeted by a bright, expansive foyer that frames views through the entire home to the town nestled in the valley below.

Inside, the soaring gabled living area commands attention with ceilings reaching up to nine meters, creating an extraordinary sense of spatial freedom. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living zones occupy a single level, seamlessly connecting to the outdoor pool—directly accessible from both the kitchen and the adjoining fitness area. The ground floor additionally houses a study, guest powder room, and entry vestibule. Beneath the gabled roof, a gallery spans the full height, housing a workspace and lounge linked by a glass-balustraded bridge. By opening directly onto the living spaces below, this gallery becomes both a sculptural design gesture and a generous 35 m² of additional room.

The open floor plan fosters fluid, expansive spaces enhanced by premium finishes and intuitive layouts—the essence of modern living. A central service core houses the lift, WC, and built-in storage on two faces, serving both the living and kitchen areas while elegantly zoning the space. Two cantilevered staircases, alongside the lift, provide seamless access to the lower floor, where an office, bedroom, and guest WC are comfortably situated.
