Remarkable Designs
Since 1894, Hembus Wallpaper Manufactory has been defining interior culture with historical elegance
This Frankfurt-based heritage company recently celebrated its 125th anniversary and is renowned across Germany for exceptional craftsmanship. Founded in Kronberg, Julius Hembus contributed to the construction of Friedrichshof Castle and undertook restoration projects for Wiesbaden's Kurhaus and Alte Oper. Today, under the leadership of Sigrun and Hans Moosbrugger, the company unites the family-run Moosbrugger workshop with Julius Hembus's painting and stucco studios. Over 750 historical wallpapers and borders have been carefully reconstructed and installed worldwide—their portfolio encompasses more than 700 historical patterns, with selections on display throughout their Frankfurt premises. These wallpapers are also available for residential purchase.
