From the architecture of the tables
Sustainable furniture as the design of the room
The More company is not only committed to beauty, but also to sustainability. Its maxim is not simply to seek the perfect form with substantial design, but also to find answers to the question: "How do we want to live?" Wood is the key material for his furniture, made from slow-grown solid wood from sustainable forestry in Europe and the USA, processed to a high level of craftsmanship. The liveliness, warmth and individuality of the woods fascinate each time anew. In terms of feel, structure or grain - no two pieces are the same, making each object unique. Designer Gil Coste thinks, feels and plans like an architect. His designs are often understood as a changeable design of the room. His latest creation, Cape, is the table-turned-idea of architecture in space. There is an elegant coffee table in a round shape or a sophisticated elongated cylinder shape. The board-glued, continuous solid wood top in walnut or black matt lacquered oak is only 2 cm thick and rests on an anthracite-colored steel frame with a harmonious curve and tapered material thickness. The matching side table is made entirely of the same steel. The 3 mm thick round table top rests on three legs, the square one on four. The precise and airy shape is a perfect match for the coffee tables.
