Open-plan workstations flow seamlessly into creative zones and collaboration spaces—complete with dining facilities, LED walls, and a showroom on the ground floor. This is what forward-thinking modern workplaces look like. For its consolidated Munich headquarters, Accenture—a global powerhouse in digitalisation, cloud computing, and cybersecurity—selected a prime location: a building in the heart of Neue Balan in Munich-Obergiesing, crowned by a rooftop terrace overlooking a stunning 50-metre pool. It's one of the campus's most coveted destinations and popular gathering points.

Inside, the 14,000 m² of New Work Office space offers remarkable design solutions. These futuristic, thoughtfully appointed spaces reflect a distinctive approach to colour and material that embodies the company's DNA. Munich-based CBA Clemens Bachmann Architekten orchestrated the new offices, knitting together the diverse existing and new structures while strategically distributing Accenture's operations across three buildings and six levels. House 17 was completely gutted, expanded by an additional floor, and comprehensively revitalised to accommodate the expanded footprint. The three-year design process yielded something extraordinary: a seamless fusion where digital and analogue coexist. Throughout the building, rough, soft, and warm surfaces create a visual narrative—a golden thread woven throughout. Industrial materials such as wood, expanded metal, and Heraklith panels serve as expansive wall, floor, and ceiling treatments. Beyond their varying acoustic properties, they anchor a distinctive visual identity while honouring the site's former industrial heritage and creating a bridge to what's new.

The colour palette strikes a compelling balance between restraint and accent. Soft greys and whites form the foundation, enhanced by gentle pastels—sage green, dove blue, and blush pink—that create a serene base punctuated by vibrant bursts of sunny yellow and rich violet. LED walls and floor-to-ceiling coloured glass panels, notably in the meeting rooms, provide dynamic counterpoints. Campus Max, an impressive 400 m² event venue accommodating up to 300 guests, anchors the office—its soaring double-height ceiling and column-free floor plan lend it cathedral-like proportions. Large glass doors effortlessly connect it to the adjoining terrace, creating a seamless flow between interior and outdoor spaces.
