A selection of contemporary buildings in the South German region demonstrates possible responses to how planning and building are adapting within the context of ecological and geopolitical transformation.

How do new construction methods influence spaces, typologies, and facades? In what ways does a high degree of prefabrication shape architectural expression in the tension between repetition and individuality? And what does daily practice actually look like?

For over 30 years, Maier Neuberger Architekten have developed their projects with pragmatism rooted in each location's unique context and collaborative dialogue. For the exhibition "INTERPLAY – Planning and Building in Transition," they pause briefly to reflect on their trajectory and look ahead.
