Ten Towers, four candles

High-rise complex transforms into Germany's largest Advent wreath

As Advent arrives, Wealthcap is reimagining Munich's Ten Towers in Berg am Laim—transforming this office complex into Germany's most spectacular Advent wreath. Four of the five iconic twin towers will illuminate sequentially, with one additional tower lighting up each Sunday in Advent. The visual effect: towers that glow like oversized candles. This artistic installation marks the creative launch of a larger neighborhood transformation, which just reached a major milestone with the recent building permit submission. The illumination strategy is elegant: lower floors maintain regular lighting, while the upper stories feature red lighting at twelve windows each—creating the intimate glow of candlelight. The north-facing facades of these 50-meter towers will be lit from within, producing a striking effect visible across the district—especially from nearby Ostbahnhof, Orleansstraße, and Berg-am-Laim-Straße.

Manuel Klier, Portfolio Manager at Wealthcap, explains: "The red flame against the white candle—reversed from what you might expect—symbolizes the transformation ahead. We're fundamentally reshaping this district, turning it on its head, and embracing a genuine new beginning." Each evening, the towers glow from dusk through dawn. The first illuminated candle is the North Tower, positioned at the western edge of the complex along Berg-am-Laim-Straße, making it particularly striking. The concept originated with Scrivo Communications, a Munich-based agency and a leading voice in financial and real estate communications across Germany.

Originally conceived as a pure office development, the Ten Towers are now evolving into a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood. Beyond office space, the site will soon feature a 244-room hotel, with residential units planned for later phases. Currently, approximately 51,000 square meters of lettable space is available, with multi-tenant areas divisible from 850 square meters upward. The complex encompasses five twin towers plus roughly 43,000 square meters of landscaped green and open spaces. Built to the highest sustainability standards, the redevelopment achieves DGNB Platinum certification. Strategically positioned within walking distance of Werksviertel, Ostbahnhof, and Leuchtenbergring S-Bahn station, the Ten Towers offer unmatched accessibility.
