More is Now! Contemporary Czech Architecture
Exhibition at the German Architecture Museum
This exhibition of contemporary architecture, presented on the occasion of the Czech Republic's guest of honor appearance at the 2026 Frankfurt Book Fair, is organized by the German Architecture Museum in collaboration with the National Gallery Prague. It showcases Czech projects by architects around 40 years old. How does this emerging generation of architects reinterpret the paradigmatic principle of "less is more" in response to new technologies, materials, resource scarcity, and ecological and social challenges?
The exhibition aims to build international reach and establish a network connecting Czech and international partners. An advisory panel guides the preparation process and selection of studios for both the exhibition and catalog. The traveling exhibition will be presented internationally by Czech Centers. The exhibition is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund.
Exhibition Dates: September 19, 2026 – January 17, 2027
