MAX45 2025

Exhibition opening at the BDA Gallery in Hamburg

The "MAX45 – 2025" prize for young architects, which was awarded for the second time by the five North German BDA regional associations in collaboration with VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG and supported by the Association for the Promotion of Architecture, seeks to provide answers from the younger generation to the question of contemporary building. The award recognises the work of young firms, aims to draw special attention to them and showcase the creative potential of their projects.

The name says it all: participating architects must be no older than 45 years. From a total of 38 submitted works, the jury awarded five equal prizes and selected three works for further consideration. Additionally, the jury chose nine further works from the assessment tour for inclusion in the exhibition and catalog.

Opening reception on February 5 at 7 p.m.

The exhibition will be on view at the BDA Hamburg Gallery from February 6 through March 17, 2026. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 2–5 p.m. and by appointment.

Registration is not required.
