Dolce Vita in the Heart of the City
The redesigned Masi Wine Bar in the Campari House invites you to experience fine wine and cocktails in refined surroundings.
Masi is a premium Italian wine producer with vineyards in both Italy and Argentina, backed by over 250 years of winemaking heritage. The brand invites guests to experience its world firsthand through "Masi Wine Experience" at select locations. One standout destination is the Masi Wine Bar Munich, housed in the iconic Campari House on Maximilianstraße and designed by renowned Italian architect Giovanna Mar. The recently renovated bar introduces a striking new concept: "Wine meets Mixology." Alongside Masi's signature Verona wines, guests now discover an innovative cocktail menu where Masi wines take center stage as the main ingredient—from the Negroni della casa to the Milano Verona (crafted with Campofiorin, Bitter Campari, China Liqueur, and soda) and the distinctive Rose-It (featuring Rosa dei Masi, Mermaid Pink Gin, and raspberry purée). The curated wine list remains a highlight, showcasing over 50 Masi labels and an exceptional selection of aged Amarone.
As summer arrives, Masi Wine Bar Munich expands into its charming courtyard fountain and outdoor terrace. The expansive glass entrance can now be fully opened, transforming the space into a vibrant gathering place with commanding views of Maximilianstraße. The interior design is a sophisticated blend: a classic Italian wine bar and restaurant merges seamlessly with a cosmopolitan cocktail lounge, each element thoughtfully conceived for this prestigious location. Dark wood echoes wine barrel tones, while deep red accents recall the richness of Amarone, punctuated by dramatic spotlighting on signature pieces. A glazed wine chamber serves as a striking focal point, showcasing bottles for tasting and retail. The culinary offering is equally compelling. Alongside signature dishes like Risotto all'Amarone Costasera, the menu now features lighter, shareable plates that honor Italian aperitivo traditions: authentic Venetian cicchetti and Lessinia salumi, freshly sliced tableside on a striking red Berkel Volano vintage slicer—a sculptural element anchoring the new bar counter.
