BDA Architecture Prize Nike 2025

Shortlist Unveiled

The jury for the BDA Architecture Prize Nike 2025 has selected 21 outstanding projects for its shortlist. These projects will be celebrated at a formal ceremony during the award presentation in Erfurt at the Zentralheize on the evening of September 11, 2025.

Held every three years, the BDA's most prestigious architectural award draws nominations from the organization's regional associations, which typically put forward their own award-winning projects for the "Nike." This gives these works national recognition and visibility.

An independent jury selected 21 works for the shortlist in the competition's first phase. From this shortlist, the jury will present equal prizes. The Nike Prize winners will be announced at the award ceremony on September 11, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Zentralheize in Erfurt, where the shortlisted projects will also be formally recognized.

The shortlist showcases compelling new construction and renovation projects from across Germany, spanning from the Baltic coast to Lake Constance.

The 2025 jury panel included:

– Inken Baller, Architect BDA, Berlin
– Kazu Ito, Architect BDA, Stuttgart
– Lina Maria Mentrup, Architect BDA, Kahla
– Gert Lorber, BDA Presidium Member, Cologne
– Martin Struck, Former Diocesan Master Builder, Archdiocese of Cologne, Krefeld
– Susanne Wartzeck, BDA President, Dipperz/Berlin
