Unobtrusively different

The Vin shelving series from weberdinge is timeless and sustainable

The daily work of architects Christine and Christof Weber - the duo behind weberdinge - is characterized by constantly rethinking the familiar. This is how the idea for their first furniture design developed from a game of thought about how board and rod can meet in a new way. The Vin shelving series combines light-footed purism and playfulness in a minimalist design. Vin changes depending on the angle of view. If it appears geometric and clear on one side, the filigree metal struts seem to grow up the shelves like abstract plant tendrils when viewed from another angle. A motif from nature, whose formal language is an important source of inspiration for the couple. High quality, traceable origin and local production wherever possible are particularly important to the couple. Each item is treated as a unique piece and personally checked. The veneered floors made of European oak bear the FSC seal of sustainable forestry and are manufactured in a Hamburg joinery. Particular attention is paid to the high-quality lacquering in order to elegantly accentuate the fine wood grain. Like the metal rods, every single screw is powder-coated in the matching color. Vin combines perfect craftsmanship, functionality and an architecturally influenced design with its very own charming character. Whether as a sideboard, highboard or classic bookshelf, it works in a wide variety of living scenarios, in the office or as store furnishings. A shelf and a rod: two elements that could not be simpler and yet create an astonishing variety when they are rethought.

As a green peninsula between the Norderelbe and Moldauer Hafen, Grasbrook is set to become an attractive showcase district and local recreation area....

A wise decision

Conversion instead of new build has many advantages and fulfills a long-cherished wish of the building owners
