Located directly at Berlin Central Station, everyworks offers business travellers, corporate teams and freelancers around 1,500 m² of focused, distraction-free workspace. This innovative coworking concept emerged from Deutsche Bahn's Smart City initiative and was developed in partnership with architects Projekte International/Bauer + Pohl. "everyworks is fundamentally a space designed for quick immersion—a place where you can work effectively regardless of your needs," explains Dr Meike Niedbal, Head of Smart City at DB Station&Service AG.

The Welcome Area sets the tone for the entire experience. Its focal point is a striking central bar element—an architectural anchor that combines the welcome desk, coffee station and work surface. Backlit in bold orange, it's an unmistakable hub of activity. The adjoining lounge with cloakroom invites casual conversation, brief respite or quiet reading. The Minute Seat section serves as the primary workspace, accommodating flexible work styles through varied seating, work surfaces and intimate alcoves.

A dedicated refreshment station with water dispenser and coffee machine ensures visitors have what they need. Thoughtfully, all wall treatments and furniture textiles incorporate acoustic properties that reduce sound while reinforcing the brand identity. The neutral grey floor and ceiling provide restraint, allowing the furniture's vibrant colours to command attention. Dark blue wall panels complete the palette, establishing a calm, concentration-friendly environment.

The Focus Area defines the quiet zone—a sanctuary for concentrated work. Partial wood panelling conveys a more composed, office-like character, while carefully selected colours and materials minimise visual and acoustic distractions. Soundproofed Meeting Compartments, accommodating up to four people, complete the layout. "Customers enjoy direct access from the platform straight to everyworks," Niedbal notes. Whether handling calls, conducting meetings or working on laptops, users step into an optimised work environment—with no long-term commitment required. Unlike traditional coworking, everyworks operates on flexible, minute-by-minute billing. "Even brief layovers become productive," Niedbal adds, highlighting what sets everyworks apart.
