Design That Moves Spaces
Studio Mavro//Lefèvre
Sofie Lefèvre, founder of Studio Mavro//Lefèvre, designs light with intention and depth. Her journey began in medical studies before leading her to the prestigious Royal College of Art in London—today, she merges emotion and function into lighting solutions that subtly transform interior spaces. "I find it fascinating to work with the different types of ambiance that light can create," she says.
The Takai table lamp, inspired by architectural brutalism, showcases her talent for uniting materials—marble, fabric, and brass—into an iconic object. Its floating shade creates a warm, almost poetic atmosphere, ideal for lounges, hotel rooms, and welcoming office spaces. Her designs Navone and Beau equally reflect her philosophy: lighting design that matters—emotionally and functionally—subtly underscoring architectural concepts.
