Minotti Opens New Flagship Store

Partnership with Renowned Cologne-Based Design Partner

The Italian brand Minotti is taking an important step in the German retail market and consolidating its sales strategy with the opening of a new flagship store in Hamburg in collaboration with Pesch, a renowned partner that is already a benchmark for excellent design in Cologne. Minotti Hamburg is located at Alter Wall No. 32 and enjoys a strategic location in the heart of the city, overlooking the Alsterfleet and Hamburg City Hall. The store covers 750 square metres of exhibition space on two levels and is housed in one of the city's most iconic buildings, which has recently been renovated and transformed into an authentic gem in the city centre. Hamburg's old town is characterised by a perfect symbiosis between historical architecture and modern metropolitan style. It is designed as a "lifestyle bridge" between consumer and luxury locations and is surrounded by a multitude of architectural beauties, including prestigious buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Even from the outside, the building stands out thanks to its spectacular natural stone façade in sandy tones, which features no fewer than 13 large windows on three sides per floor. Inside, the project, designed by Minotti Studio with great attention to detail, invites visitors to enjoy an immersive and captivating experience. The two exhibition levels, characterised by an alternation of tone and rhythm in the use of materials, engage in a coherent and harmonious dialogue, conveying a unified and clearly defined image of the brand.

On the ground floor, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Old Wall offer a complete overview of the latest furnishings in the 2024 collection, set in an open space with a strong and decisive character, characterised by a skilful interplay of materials, unusual colours and the presence of several works of art. Oak panelling in mocha alternates with chalk-white and moss-coloured lacquered surfaces, which, in combination with concrete-look floor coverings, create refined oases of comfort and relaxation. Among the most important furnishings are the Supermoon seating furniture by Giampiero Tagliaferri and Yves by Hannes Peer, accompanied by the Pattie and Emmi armchairs and numerous coffee tables. Particularly impressive is the Nico table, also by Hannes Peer, which is available in various designs and sizes.

The upper floor, on the other hand, is divided into three macro-spaces with a residential character, interspersed with Verde Lepanto marble portals that make an architectural statement and perfectly complement the herringbone parquet flooring in Moka oak. The protagonists include numerous bestsellers and long-sellers such as the Hamilton, Dylan and Connery seating systems, all by Rodolfo Dordoni, as well as numerous designs by Marcio Kogan/Studio MK27, Nendo and GamFratesi. Minotti Hamburg by Pesch embodies the brand's vision with sophistication and opens the door to new growth prospects in the German market. With this store, Minotti underlines its commitment to excellence and craftsmanship, bringing an exclusive interpretation of luxury to the heart of Hamburg.
