BAU 2025: Interior Door Manufacturers Share Positive Takeaways
The company showcased enhanced solutions with extended capabilities
Under the banner "Dimension & Function," interior door manufacturer Westag AG unveiled a comprehensive range of innovations at BAU 2025—from expanded door dimensions to enhanced certifications and premium materials. Visitors discovered the latest breakthroughs, including fire and acoustic protection solutions scaling up to 3000 x 3000 millimeters, coupled with specialized approvals and exceptional material standards.
Key innovations:
– Dimension & Function: A door collection reaching up to
3000 x 3000 millimeters, combined with expanded certifications and premium materials
such as FENIX® and Westalife veneer
– QuaTTre: Minimalist design that lets doors dissolve into walls. Three subtle
lines trace a door's contour, seamlessly integrated into the wall surface for an
nearly invisible appearance.
– ProEdge: Impact-resistant edge solution in stress class "E." This portfolio
addition enables Westag to deliver doors meeting the most demanding impact
resistance standards for door edges.
– TopLab® DOORS: An innovative surface engineered for hygiene-critical
environments, from hospitals to laboratories.
The "one-stop solution" approach and integration of Westag Saterland GmbH expertise (formerly Reinaerdt Türen GmbH) resonated strongly with visitors. The expanded portfolio spans classic interior doors through to bespoke solutions—all available in quantities starting from just one unit.
The company will showcase major elements of its trade fair booth in the new F10 showroom at its Rheda-Wiedenbrück headquarters—a meaningful step toward sustainable business practices. This creates an ongoing destination where customers can experience Westag's full product range firsthand, extending the conversation far beyond the trade fair itself.
