Inspired by the Isar

A new residential ensemble in the Au was given an exciting interior style world

Golden reflections at sunrise, crystal-clear water right down to the bottom, light river stones, dark shades at night and in fog: the Isar, which meanders 292 kilometers from the Alps to the Danube, inspired the Munich-based Brückner interior designers to create a very special interior concept for the "Hoch der Isar" project on the former site of the Paulaner brewery on Nockherberg in Au-Haidhausen. From the City Studio to the Penthouse - for all 185 condominiums ranging in size from 30 to 330 m², tailor-made floor plans and different style worlds were created in collaboration with the client Becken Holding.

The central focal point of the ensemble is the prestigious lobby with concierge service. It already gives a foretaste of the three exclusive style worlds of the apartments. High-quality lights, the minimalist-aesthetic letterbox systems and golden accents in the wall surfaces in the entrance areas of the buildings underline the exclusive claim of the project, which even has a "Room of Wishes" - an innovative parcel box system. The new residents were able to choose from a total of three styles - from "Golden Light" to "Silver Sparkle" and "Essence of Grey" - each with different materials and colors. In the "Golden Light" design, the interior designers' love of the river and their special feel for the city is particularly evident: they bathed the apartment in warm, natural colors - inspired by the Isar beach and the golden reflections of the water at sunrise. Light-colored porcelain stoneware and the decorative tiles reflect the special feel and grain of the light-colored pebbles of the Isar beach. Brass applications and accessories pick up on the glittering reflections of the sun's rays. An elegant color palette of pebble, beige and sand tones supports the design and gives the rooms a friendly glow. "'Hoch der Isar' has shown that standard solutions are a thing of the past. Anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd relies on individual, high-quality concepts that go far beyond the choice of materials and colors," says Susanne Brückner, interior designer and CEO of Brücknerinnen.
