History meets innovation

Interior concept with modern design details for office space in former soap factory

The SV Group, a restaurant and hotel management group, moved into its new headquarters in the former soap factory in Düsseldorf. For the new offices in the 1950s building, which boasts a unique atmosphere, the consulting and planning office pro m2with NazaninMalek as interior designer, designed an interior concept that perfectly combines history with innovation. She designed office spaces in which both customers and employees are welcomed with the company's unmistakable signature. Red, the company's CI color, was used as an accent color. "The use of different shades of red in combination with contrasting materials such as tiles and terrazzo helps to create a unique atmosphere that emphasizes the theme of enjoyment and gastronomy," explains Nazanin Malek.

The Market Place is the central element of the interior concept. This is a versatile space that combines different areas such as a coffee bar, a catering kitchen and lounge areas. The Market Place offers employees and customers the opportunity to meet each other and experience the theme of enjoyment and togetherness. The design idea for the interior concept included arousing emotions and taking into account the individual needs and requirements of the users. The varied workspaces, which offer both a functional and inspiring ambience, promote teamwork, commitment and creativity among employees.

As the transition from an individual office to an open space can be challenging at first, sufficient retreat areas were provided to allow employees to work in peace and concentration. Before the move, the company worked with pro m² which, in addition to real estate strategy, workplace consulting and change management, is also responsible for construction project management, initiated the #wemove project. In workshops, employees were given the opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making process for the design of the rooms. This made it possible to develop a solution tailored to the company.
