Penthouse with appealing color and material concept
A penthouse, many rooms and even more special features: The apartment, whose interior design, color and material concept was developed by hansen innenarchitektur, is full of ideas and tailor-made solutions. These are already evident in the open entrance area, which is separated from the private part of the apartment with gym, sauna and utility room by a custom-made wall unit. During the day, a skylight dome provides natural light here, while in the evening a mini track with small spotlights effectively illuminates the area.
The heart of the penthouse is the kitchen, which is adjoined by an open-plan living/dining area. To conceal the air conditioning in the kitchen, the ceiling was suspended here - a trick that also defines the kitchen area in the room as such. Last but not least, the black metal shelving with frosted glass shelves placed under the ceiling also contributes to this. This also visually separates the kitchen, allowing the extractor hood to recede into the background and providing space for decoration. Both the worktop and the dining table top are made of a purely mineral ultra-compact material, which is extremely resistant despite its low thickness. In contrast to the white kitchen fronts, the side facing the dining area is painted black - matching the furniture lined up against the long wall. Oak accents give the surfaces a homely feel and echo the material of the floor. The furniture on the long wall of the dining/living area, which appears light and floating despite its size thanks to the wall mounting, is designed and arranged according to its function. The bedroom is accessed from the living room via the dressing room. While the right-hand wall of the dressing room is taken up by built-in wardrobes with sliding doors, the left-hand wall is completely covered, creating a small storage room next to the bathroom. A further built-in wardrobe next to it creates a separation from the bedroom.
The dressing room also leads to the bathroom, whose dominant element is the washbasin unit with a wide washbasin and two wall-mounted taps. The lighting technology is housed in the compartments above the bath. In addition, a small open compartment at the left-hand end provides space for decorative perfume bottles. The spacious shower, in which care products can be stored in a shampoo niche, is separated by a fixed glass panel around the corner. Large sandstone-look tiles match the wooden surfaces and parquet flooring in the adjoining dressing room.
