"Wertschau"
Exhibition at auau Raum für Architektur, Hamburg
Opening Thursday, November 6, 2025, at auau Raum für Architektur in Hamburg, the exhibition "Wertschau" brings together three firms – K+E, NBL, and ZRS – in a powerful collaboration. Born from rigorous research and decades of hands-on expertise, the exhibition showcases how thoughtful architecture can thrive within planetary boundaries. It's a shared vision that unites all three practices.
"Value in Practice" demonstrates how new design emerges from a genuine appreciation of what already exists. It charts a fundamental shift toward practices that protect resources rather than deplete them—preserving, nurturing, and reimagining materials and spaces. Rather than seeking universal solutions or grand gestures, the exhibition centers on buildings, people, and the stories they tell. Visitors experience the tangible, visual, and conceptual worth of materials firsthand.
Participants: K+E – Department of Constructive Design, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
Opening Reception: Thursday, November 6, 7 p.m.
Closing Event: Thursday, December 4, 2025, 7 p.m.
