Building diversity - Architecture and Civil Engineering Day

Project tours, tours, presentations, activities and workshopsworkshops

Over 100 architects, engineers and urban planners are inviting visitors to more than 150 events at 61 locations in 32 Hamburg districts as part of the Day of Architecture on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. New this year is the section "The city plans (with)". In this section, planning services on the part of the public sector will be presented. Five exciting projects will kick things off. Among others, Hamburg's Chief Building Director Franz-Josef Höing will present the plans for the new Grasbrook district and Hans-Peter Boltres, Head of the Building Department of the Hamburg-Nord district, will present the city's flagship project Pergolenviertel in Winterhude. Children and young people are welcome on all guided tours and presentations. However, the PROJEKTOR is explicitly aimed at young people of school age. The planning offices have once again come up with some great activities for them, inviting young people to visit their offices or projects - architecture and engineering to touch and participate in. Urbaneo, the new Young Architecture Center in HafenCity, which opened in April, will also be taking part.

The program booklet (DIN A6 portrait, as PDF at www.akhh.de/tda2024programmheft) is available free of charge at many locations in the city (bookshops, tourist information offices, supermarkets, bookshops, cafés, etc.) and at the Hamburg Chamber of Architects/Hamburg Chamber of Civil Engineers. It is also available online at www.tda-hamburg.de. Participation in all events is free of charge, usually no registration is required, in some cases registration is necessary, in others it is recommended in order to be sure of a free place at the desired time.
