Held every three years, the Cologne Architecture Prize now celebrates its 15th edition – a distinction that places it among Germany's oldest and most respected regional architecture awards. In early April, the 2024 winners were announced at the Cologne Art Association, with Ina Scharrenbach, North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister for Home Affairs, Local Government, Building and Digitalisation, in attendance. A five-member jury, led by architect Lena Unger of Unger Architekten in Leipzig, selected the laureates. Five projects received equal recognition:
